BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Tanuj Chopra is working as a faculty in the Department of Civil Engineering, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, India. He has extensive teaching, consultancy and research experience of 12 years in the field of Transportation & Pavement Engineering. With his vast knowledge and invaluable experience, he has guided 60 M.E. Dissertation (thesis) in the field of Transportation Engineering & has 49 research publications in various journals and conferences of international repute. Presently 5 PhD research scholars are working under him on different Pavement Engineering problems. He has been awarded with teaching excellence award for six times by Thapar University Patiala. Dr. Chopra is currently working on various industrial consultancy projects funded by various central governments, state governments and private organisations. Presently handling around 7 National Highway Projects of NHAI, MORTH & PWD as Deputy Team Leader cum Highway Engineer for Road Safety Audit in the state of Punjab, J&K, Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal, Odisha and Bihar. He is a consultant to Punjab PWD, Punjab Urban Development Authority (PUDA), Municipal Corporations, Improvement Trust and many private organisations such as Ashok Buildcon, SP Singla Constructions, Tricone, Techno Rise consultants, Kiranotech engineering and York Builders etc...
