BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Prem Pal bansal is a Professor and former Head at the Dept. of Civil Engineering, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology since December 1995. He obtained his BE (Gold Medal) in Civil Engineering in year 1993 from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (TIET) Patiala. He obtained his ME (Gold Medal) in Structural Engineering in year 1995 from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (TIET) Patiala. He obtained his Ph.D from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala in year 2008. He has extensive teaching and research experience in structural Engineering of more than 21 years. He has guided one completed Ph.D and presently supervising 5 pursuing Ph.D. Candidates. He has guided more than 25 M.E. Dissertation. He has more than 25 papers in various journals and conferences of international reputes. He has supervised six research and infrastructures projects and more than 50 consultancy projects. He has delivered more than ten expert lectures.
