Biography

Dr. Pratik Tiwari is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (Patiala), since July 2022. He obtained his Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering degree in the year 2013 from Institute of technology, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya Bilaspur. He completed his M. Tech in Structural (civil) Engineering in 2015 from National Institute of Technology Patna. He then received his PhD degree from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in 2021.

 

His research interests include Composite structures, Fluid-structure Interaction, Liquid sloshing, Mechanical metamaterials, nonlinear finite element analysis and soft materials. He has published six research articles in reputed international journals and presented papers in several international conferences.
